The Gallipolis Railroad Freight Station Museum is housed in the historic 1901 Hocking Valley Railroad Freight Station and preserves the railroad heritage of the Gallipolis area. Exhibits inside the restored depot feature railroad artifacts, photographs, memorabilia, and displays highlighting the railroads and employees who helped shape the region.

Visitors are offered a guided tour of the historic freight station, and this is highly recommended. The knowledgeable guides share detailed information about the station, the railroads that served the area, and the important role railroads played in the development of the Ohio River Valley.
